Client Communication
Understanding the purpose and benefits for performing an intrarectal digital assessment will allow you to craft your communication and confidently present to information your client will need to make an informed decision that feels safe for them. Knowledge is power. If we are uncertain of the reasons, or nervous to take about this topic, out clients will pick up on that and potentially make a decision to exclude beneficial treatment options.
Fascial Mobilization of the GI System
Mind-Body Manual therapies that interact with the fascial, MSK, respiratory, nervous, and circulatory systems with the somatic frame and higher brain centers (limbic, amygdala, thalamus, brain stem).
If you find this work helpful and would like to take a deeper dive, I highly recommend the work of Ramona Horton who teaches with Herman & Wallace Institute and has a series of fascial mobilization courses. The techniques found in this section come directly from her trainings and are a nice way to dip your toes into using your manual skills to "have a conversation with the brain" as Ramona says.

While it would be helpful to learn all the information right away, we recommend gradually layering in education to maintain enthusiasm for your pelvic health journey.
