Pelvic Floor Foundations

We all have pelvic floors, but do you know how to make yours work for you and support a healthy lifestyle for years to come?

Did you know that if you are doing kegels to help your pelvic issues, you may be working against your body?

Did you know that you can contract your pelvic floor in TWO directions?! It's not all about squeezing and lifting! You can get more bang for your buck by lengthening your pelvic floor and I will show you how.

We will explore the breath, and posture to get you connecting to your pelvic floor and core to get it working for you rather than against you!

The body is often counterintuitive in the pelvic space. meaning, what you think would help your bladder, bowel, sexual, pain issues may be the opposite of what you should be doing. Establishing a foundational understanding of the pelvic floor and how it fits into the whole body will give you tools to troubleshoot through the various hurdles you and your clients  encounter in daily life.

Pelvic Rehab- Lab Intensive

Are you a Pelvic Rehab Therapist craving hands on lab review for the pelvic floor muscle interventions and prolapse assessments?

Maybe you are an OT or PT practitioner struggling to break into the field because all the lab trainings are on the weekend.

Or perhaps you have taken other pelvic rehab trainings and would like a new perspective and walk away with a few new clinical pearls....

We have you covered!

Essential Pelvic Health is excited to announce that we have put together a one day LAB INTENSIVE that will take place during the week so you don't have to worry about giving up your precious weekend time, and costly travel expenses.

Hi, I'm Laura Rowan, proud Pelvic Health Occupational Therapist and I have helped 1000's of clients and clinicians reach their full potential.

As course creator of the Pelvic Rehab- Manual Assessments and Treatment Techniques CEU course (PR-MATT), I have pulled the specific lab trainings from PR-MATT to bring you this one day lab intensive that focuses on:

  • PFM Assessment and Treatment Techniques (external and internal)
  • Pelvic Organ Prolapse Assessments

Let's face it, it's difficult to absorb everything in your first pelvic rehab training involving PFM interventions. There is a lot to pick up on a second and even third round!

Its also great to seek training from a variety of educators to procure clinical nuggets from the experts. If you have not received training from EPH yet, but have already been trained in internal applications of the PFM intervention process, we welcome you to join us!

We are going to make sure you have the skills and confidence to go out and support the growing and much deserving needs of the pelvic health population.

If you are taking this as your first pelvic rehab intro course, please be sure to register for the PR-MATT online course so you have the training to support this lab intensive.

Please note: EPH created this lab intensive to honor those who observe the Sabbath.  Please reach out with any other special accommodations we should be aware of for planning purposes.
